Your Role

As a Lead Business Analyst (m/f/d) within the Data Products Architecture group, you will be at the forefront of our innovative data mesh transformation, driving functional governance and ensuring data products are aligned with business strategy. Your work will directly impact how our logistics and business units leverage data to optimize operations and create new opportunities. Your Responsibilities

1. Cross-Team and Cross-Business Unit Alignment:
   • Facilitate roadmap decisions to align with business goals.
   • Maintain an overview of key applications and their functional purposes.
   • Identify and advocate for
     - driven business value.
   • Support the data analytics team by driving required upstream data product initiatives.
2. Functional Governance:
   • Moderate functional governance processes and meetings.
   • Ensure the alignment of data ownership, policies, and accountability with business and functional units.
   • Focus on interoperability and maximizing business value.
3. Requirements Engineering:
   • Clarify requirements and act as backlog owner for data stores and digital twin data products, which are kickstarted within the Data Products Architecture Group.
   • Work with the Data Platform Business Analyst to capture and streamline customer requirements, focusing on user experience.
4. Reporting and Communication:
   • Maintain status reports to track progress and milestones.
   • Document and share success stories to showcase business impact.

Your Skills and Experiences

• 5+ years experience as a business analyst, program manager, or a mix of other roles requiring functional governance or portfolio management in a large enterprise.
• Understanding of functional governance approach in a
  - driven organization.
• Ability to facilitate
  - functional collaboration and align stakeholders across business and IT.
• Experience with requirements engineering and backlog ownership for
  - related initiatives.
• Familiarity with the data mesh approach.
• Strong communication skills to articulate business value and drive data product adoption.
• A background in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• You are organized and methodic.
• Proactive,
  - starter, able to motivate the team in a dynamic environment.
• Team player, you enjoy working collaboratively and are willing to develop and empower others.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
