Junior S&OP Analyst, EU AMZL - Supply Chain - S&OP

As a Junior S&OP Analyst you will have the opportunity to create
- class customer experiences leveraging your innovation, team player and problem solving skills.

This position could involve working in a rotating
- shift system, which may include Saturdays, Sundays, night shifts and/or
- call duty.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data queries, visualizations, and models for both regular reporting and
   - hoc requests. This includes gathering and manipulating data from various sources, applying synthesis techniques, and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders.
2. Thrive in a
   - paced environment where plans may need to be adjusted rapidly to respond to sudden changes in demand or unexpected disruptions, delivering quick,
   - driven insights to the Senior Analysts to support
   - sensitive
   - making.
3. Drive continuous process and tools improvement by tracking progress against established goals in terms of forecasting accuracy (WAPE), outlier detection, delivery speed and cost to serve, and collaborating with technical and business teams to implement process enhancements.

About the team:

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with
- party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is
- focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.

Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of
- edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.

Minimum requirements:

1. Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
2. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
3. Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
5. Previous experience within transportation or logistics.
6. Working experience on programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
