In order to succeed, you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
• Proven experience working as a Java Backend Developer or related role
• Good knowledge and working experience of Java
• Interest in software craftsmanship
• Experience in writing easily readable and understandable clean code using solid principles, understanding QA and automation practices and strategies, and delivering working software using Dev
  Ops "you built it, you run it!" mindset including driving continuous improvement for better quality, performance, functionality, and
  - effectiveness.
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Great English skills, both written and spoken.

About The Product

This team is delivering IT within the Sales Ecosystem. The group "Attributes & Configuration" within Sales IT is responsible for developing services and IT to Sales & Marketing at MAN Truck & Bus through MAN Digital Hub in Lisbon, part of VWDS. The work we are performing covers the complete system development process, from concept development and analysis to development, implementation, and production releases.
