Porto, Hybrid – 3 days from home per week.

As a Junior Java Fullstack Developer, you will work within the Market Risk team to support the development and maintenance of applications critical to the bank’s risk management processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and make a tangible impact on the financial industry.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to implement functional requirements and develop internal tools.
• Support the development, maintenance, and testing of applications using Java and Angular.
• Gather, document, and manage application requirements in an Agile environment.
• Assist in optimizing existing processes and suggesting performance improvements.
• Maintain and enhance SQL-based data solutions for financial metrics calculation.
• Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of team practices.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Up to 3 years of experience in Java Fullstack development, ideally in a financial or risk management context.
• Proficiency in Java, Angular, and MS SQL, with a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with source code management tools like Git.
• Familiarity with Dev
  Ops concepts and tools such as XL Release and XL Deploy (desirable).
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in an international team.
• Good communication skills in English (B2 level or above); knowledge of French is a plus.
