ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are looking for a highly motivated and organized Junior Financial Controller Assistant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the financial controller in the preparation of financial reports and statements,
• Support the
  - end and
  - end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries,
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections,
• Assist in the preparation of audits and regulatory compliance reporting,
• Assist in monitoring and resolving discrepancies in financial records,
• Provide administrative support related to financial operations as needed.

PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field,
• Previous experience in finance or accounting role,
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software or ERP is a plus (e. g. , ORACLE, SAP, etc. ),
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations,
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
