KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Proactively collect and clean data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
2. Conduct
   - depth data analysis to identify trends, extract insights, and drive informed
   - making.
3. Develop, maintain, and enhance business reports to support
   - driven strategies effectively.
4. Supervise and optimise report automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
5. Provide proactive data support, enabling VIA’s users to interpret and utilise data effectively.
6. Implement rigorous data quality assurance processes to identify and resolve inconsistencies, ensuring data integrity.
7. Support the Data & Analytics Manager by:
1. Proactively gathering business requirements for data requests, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Drafting comprehensive documentation to maintain clarity and consistency in
   - related processes.
3. Conducting thorough testing and validation of outputs produced by the development team to ensure accuracy and reliability.

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. BSc in Computer Science or a related analytical field.
2. MSc in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
3. 2+ years of professional experience in data science or software development.
4. Essential expertise:
1. Some experience with SQL
2. Some experience with Power BI/DAX
3. Some experience with data analysis
4. Basic Excel analytics skills
5. Experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load)
6. Experience with Databricks
7. Experience with Python
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
7. Experience in stakeholder management and presenting analytical results to senior leaders
8. A
   - starter mentality, with the ability to work effectively within a complex matrix organisation
