Job Description

Our Merkle Family is growing and we are aiming to build a Talent Community combining all the Record to Report Accountants, so if you want to be considered please apply so you can be kept in the loop on the future job openings in our team!

You are responsible for:

• Completing the appropriate tasks for your ledger on a daily basis.
• Recording all relevant transactions into the General Ledger and reconciling your assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
• Delivering transactional processing and accounting for manual bookings and cost accounting.
• Performing
  - end activities, including account reconciliation preparation, balance sheet maintenance (accruals, provisions, prepayments, fixed assets).
• Stat reporting accrual history sheets and FA history sheets.
• Supporting the business by proposing and implementing improvements to our control environments including internal compliance and JSOX requirements.

You will report to the Report to Record Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant.
• Working experience in IFRS.
• 3+ years in a complex accounting role.
• Fluent English, verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid, innovative, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc. ).
• Experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, i
  Scala).
