To Be Considered You'll Need:

• English Advanced
• Your CV/resume submitted in English
• Have resident documentation or permit/valid VISA to work in PORTUGAL. (D3 VISA - Art 61/ Art 61-A)

We're looking for an experienced senior backend engineer to join us with a general skill set of Java (particularly Spring Boot). But any additional skills with React are welcome.

Backend Knowledge:

• Java 17
• Spring Boot 3 for microservices
• AWS Lambda
• Database technologies (SQL, Postgre
  SQL)
• Messaging technologies (Active
  MQ or Kafka)
• Unit and Integration tests
• API first Mindset: integrations across teams will go through either REST or Graph
  QL APIs.

Other experiences:

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (Jenkins)
• Trunk Based Development (Git
  Hub)
• Cloud platform (AWS)
• Familiarity with mobile/distributed systems, integration patterns, and common issues in these environments
• Secure development principles - OWASP “Top 10”, integrating security with services.
• Feature Flag tools (Launch
  Darkly)
• Logging and Monitoring (Splunk, Dynatrace)

Communications and technical leadership:

• Excellent written & oral English, C1 level minimum.
• Proactively display qualities that demonstrate technical leadership in your field of expertise: active involvement in discussion on key meetings, and communicating technical problems and solutions carefully and thoroughly across all team members and seniorities.
