Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement efficient database solutions using SQL and No
   SQL, particularly Mongo
   DB.
2. Break down complex problems, create flowcharts, and propose scalable solutions.
3. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to integrate APIs (REST and SOAP).
4. Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
5. Utilize Git for source code management and version control.
6. Ensure
   - quality software development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Stay
   -
   - date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.
3. Experience working with SQL and No
   SQL databases, particularly Mongo
   DB.
4. Ability to analyze complex problems, create flowcharts, and drive solutions.
5. Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
6. Excellent communication skills in English.
7. Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 times per week in Porto).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with API integration (REST and SOAP), ensuring seamless communication between different services and applications.
2. In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, including best practices for designing and deploying scalable distributed systems.
3. Proficiency in Git for source code management, maintaining code integrity and facilitating team collaboration through version control strategies.
4. Hands-on experience in payment and ticketing services integration, working with various payment gateways and ticketing platforms to enable secure and efficient transactions.
5. Ability to break down and analyze complex technical challenges, structuring solutions effectively using flowcharts and logical models.
6. Strong autonomy in
   - making while maintaining a collaborative approach within the team.
7. A proactive mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance system performance and reliability.
