Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Java Application Support who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that L1 support cannot handle;
- Incident Management: Manage and prioritize incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders;
- Escalation Handling: Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or other specialized teams when necessary;
- Knowledge Sharing: Document solutions and share knowledge with L1 support to improve overall efficiency;
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their issues, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction;
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred;
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in transportation or tolling systems;
- Experience with Linux OS, Java,
- based applications, and SQL Databases; - Experience with troubleshooting hardware components such as cameras, sensors, and tolling equipment is a plus;
- Knowledge of integrating various systems and ensuring they work seamlessly together;
- Ability to analyze data from tolling systems to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement;
- Excellent communication skills,
- solving, and proactive attitude; - Good level of written and technical English;
- Availability for a model with 2 to 3 times per week in the office (Oeiras);
- Availability to do preventive work 1 week per month.
