We are looking for a Windows SCCM Expert with extensive experience in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a global enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SCCM, including its deployment, configuration, management, and optimization at scale. As an expert in Windows infrastructure management, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment, patching, and management of Windows operating systems and software across a large, complex enterprise environment. You will also collaborate with
- functional teams to support and optimize the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, performance, and compliance.
Your Mission
- SCCM Administration and Management:
Manage and maintain the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure, including the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of SCCM components (e. g. , Distribution Points, Management Points, Site Servers).
Administer SCCM for operating system deployment (OSD), software distribution, patch management, and remote management.
Manage SCCM collections, reporting, and querying to monitor system performance, compliance, and updates across a global enterprise environment.
Configure and optimize SCCM task sequences for Windows OS deployment, upgrades, and migrations. - Software Deployment and Patch Management:
Implement and manage automated software deployment, including security patches, updates, and new software releases.
Develop and enforce patch management policies across the enterprise to ensure all endpoints are

- date and secure.
Automate application and OS patching via SCCM, reducing manual intervention and improving system security. - Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Imaging:
Configure and maintain operating system deployment infrastructure using SCCM’s OSD feature to deploy customized Windows OS images to endpoints globally.
Develop and maintain Windows OS images and configuration baselines for
- wide deployment.
Ensure that Windows OS deployments are efficient,
- free, and aligned with enterprise standards. - Compliance and Security:
Work closely with security teams to ensure systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulations through the implementation of security baselines and configuration management practices.
Perform system health checks and audits to ensure SCCM compliance and proper functioning of all client systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with SCCM client installations, software deployments, and system configurations. - Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop and maintain SCCM reports on software deployment status, patch management compliance, system health, and performance metrics.
Monitor SCCM infrastructure and ensure that the environment is operating efficiently, with minimal downtime and disruption.
Provide proactive recommendations for improvements to SCCM infrastructure and processes to enhance deployment efficiency. - Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with
- functional IT teams (network, security, and systems administration) to optimize and support the broader IT infrastructure.
Provide support to internal stakeholders for SCCM-related requests, troubleshooting, and resolution of software deployment or configuration issues.
Assist in the creation of internal documentation and training for IT teams regarding SCCM usage and best practices. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest SCCM features, updates, and best practices in a global enterprise setting.
Recommend and implement improvements to the SCCM infrastructure, processes, and procedures to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
Lead and assist with SCCM-related projects, upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Your Story:
- Expert-level experience in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) administration in a
- scale, global enterprise environment. - Strong understanding and
- on experience with OS deployment (OSD), patch management, software distribution, and remote management using SCCM. - Experience with SCCM site configuration, client health, and content distribution.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining Windows OS images, task sequences, and driver management in SCCM.
- Familiarity with Active Directory integration with SCCM and managing SCCM clients across domains and forests.
- Strong knowledge of Power
Shell scripting for SCCM automation and task optimization. - In-depth experience with SCCM reporting and SQL queries to gather data on deployments, patching, and system status.
- Expertise in managing and supporting enterprise patch management through SCCM, ensuring the environment is always secure and

- date. - Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly in SCCM and Windows environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Certified: SCCM/Config
Mgr Administrator or similar certifications.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot for modern device provisioning.
• Knowledge of Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager for mobile device management and modern management practices.
• Familiarity with other IT management tools and automation platforms (e. g. , Power
Shell, Azure Automation).
• Experience with networking protocols and distributed systems in
- scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and integration with
- premises SCCM infrastructure (e. g. , Azure).
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing complex tasks and projects.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to document processes and systems clearly.
• Proactive
- solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to work in a
- paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
