We are looking for an IT Production Support for a onsite project based in Lisbon (2x/Week).
Requirements:
- Total 7+ years of IT experience working in IT infrastructure and application support with good mix of experience as given.
- At least 3+ years of support experience on AS400 technologies (DB2/400, CL/400, SQL/400, RPG & RPGLE, COBOL/400).
- Good technical knowledge on AS400 Subsystem, Job Description, Job Queue, Job Logs, Journal, Objects, etc.
- Good knowledge of CL/400 and OS/400 commands.
- Knowledge on SQL/400 and other AS400 utilities.
- Knowledge on any Job Scheduling system.
- Basic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery and media services).
- Experience on AS400 RPGLE and COBOL/400 development.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 support to application, system and batch related issues on the respective AS400 [primary], Unix/Windows [secondary] environments used by the different domain.
- Monitor Production batches and infra components.
- Ensure batch related issues are attended and resolved on time
- Escalate timely to Head of APS on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues
- Adhere to Service Level objective target and roadmap.
- Review and create application Support knowledge articles.
- Ensuring that all production deliverables are aligned with bank standards and best practices.
- Identify and propose automation wherever possible to improve system availability, productivity, and performance.
