IT Network and Security Administrator (m/w)
About the Role:
INCM (www.incm. pt) is a Portuguese company recognized, nationally and internationally, as a leader in security products and services.
We issue documents used by millions of people daily, such as the Citizen Card or the Portuguese Electronic Passport, as well as identification documents and passports to other countries.
We are looking for an experienced IT Network and Security Administrator (m/w) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing network environments, including switches, routers and other data center infrastructure network components, focusing on ensuring high availability, security and performance on a complex corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure networks.
- Manage and maintain complex corporate networks, including data centers, LAN, WAN, IPSEC, and perimeter security.
- Configure and manage firewalls to ensure security, high availability, and network performance.
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve network efficiency.
- Troubleshoot critical connectivity and security issues.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts to optimize network management.

- date and reflects current configurations and operational procedures. - Collaborate with the IT team to resolve hardware and software issues.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT network and security administration.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting corporate LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks.
- Advanced knowledge in managing Cisco environments, including switches, routers, and data center infrastructure.
- Experience in configuring and managing Check Point and Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience with network security, including firewall configurations and access policies.
Highly Valued (Optional) Certifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator) or CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional).
- Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA).
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
- Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) 4 and 5
Highly Valued (Optional) Skills:
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS and NX-OS for configuring and managing switches and routers.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Cisco Access Points (APs).
- Preference for experience with Check Point and Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience in Configuration and management of VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and Qo
S (Quality of Service). - Experience with Wi-Fi security, such as WPA3, Radius, and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
- Monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Cisco Prime or other network management platforms.
