We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to join the Technology & Data team.

The IT Operations Manager is responsible for 3 areas of the Iberian IT Operations department: IT Infrastructures, Service Desk & Workplace, and Application Support.

What are the responsibilities?

1. Overseeing the daily operations of IT departments, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely.
2. IT Infrastructures: Ensuring that the physical infrastructure solutions are the most appropriate and maintain a monitoring system to guarantee the quality of the Oney service, application, and/or product.
3. Service Desk & Workplace: Ensuring the support and resolution of technical problems for employees, guaranteeing compliance with the defined SLAs.
4. Application Support: Supporting and troubleshooting technical and production problems with Oney's application systems.
5. Leading IT Infrastructures, Service Desk & Workplace, and Application Support teams, developing their potential, promoting teamwork, cooperation, motivating, and guiding employees through monitoring, training, and continuous feedback.
6. Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
7. Ensuring that IT systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
8. Ensuring the management and smooth running of the company's entire IT environment, in particular the availability and operation of business support systems.
9. Supporting the company's production and user environments.
10. Promoting continuous improvement in the quality of the company's service, with a focus on automating processes, eliminating possible operational risks and improving production activity.
11. Managing the department's budget and projects across the company in the technology area.

What are we looking for?

1. Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in IT projects, with a focus on IT security solutions, and 2 years’ experience in team management.
3. Knowledge of the following tools and technology: Networking (Cisco, Checkpoint, Watchguard); Systems management software (System Center, VMware v
   Center); Service Desk Software (Service
   Now, Jira Service Management, Zendesk); Virtualization and Cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); Security Software (Symantec, Mc
   Afee, firewall configurations); Data Analytics (Splunk, ELK Stack).
4. Knowledge of ITIL Processes: Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices for IT service management.
5. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and hardware/software management.
6. Project Management: Proficiency in overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
7. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues, determine causes, and implement effective solutions swiftly.
8. Fluency in oral and written English. Knowledge of Spanish will be valued.
9. Leadership and People Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of IT professionals to achieve operational goals.
10. Exceptional ability to interact and build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
11. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
