Now platform. That platform plays a pivotal role in streamlining our operations, and we’re seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to enhance it further and digitize the company.
Position Summary:
The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring successful Service
Now implementations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, project managers, scrum teams, and developers to optimize Service
Now workflows, automate processes, and improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Engage with IT and business stakeholders to elicit and document detailed requirements for Service
Now enhancements, configurations, customizations, and integrations. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points, process inefficiencies, and user needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Service
Now Configuration and Customization: - Collaborate with Vendors to configure Service
Now modules, workflows, forms, and business rules based on documented requirements, following our agile Release processes. - Customize Service
Now applications to align with organizational processes. - Collaborate with Vendors to implement and maintain
- wide features such as service catalogs and catalog items, service portals, and knowledge bases. - Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using Service
Now. - Continuously assess and enhance Service
Now capabilities to meet evolving business needs. - Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development teams, system administrators, business requesters and other stakeholders to ensure seamless Service
Now integrations and implementations. - Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to promote Service
Now adoption. - Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to project sponsors and leadership.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Partner with our test management and release management team to organize thorough testing of Service
Now configurations. - Help validate that solutions meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and drive defect resolution.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive documentation, including process flows, user guides, and technical specifications.
- Organize training of
- users and support teams on Service
Now functionality and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst on Service
Now implementations (certification is a plus). - Experience in any of the Service
Now products WSD, LSD, SLO, GRC/IRM, Custom Apps/Creator Workflows. - Experience in creating process Data Models, Wireframes, Process Maps.
- Strong affinity for innovative technology and motivation to build expertise in consulting, project management, and Service
Now. - Agile mindset, excellent teamwork, and enthusiasm for
- centric solutions. - Ability to plan and design Service
Now solutions on a global platform.
