Project

Working within a telecom operator, focusing on data center projects and service integration. Works alongside security teams, ensuring security compliance in designs, but security validation is handled by a dedicated team.

While strong network knowledge is required, there is room for skill development and evolution after joining.

Role

• Design and implement network solutions for data center environments, ensuring compliance with security guidelines;
• Define configurations for routing, switching, and firewall policies;
• Support service integration across IT, OSS, and other platforms;
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to develop optimized and secure networking solutions;
• Perform corrective actions when required;
• Ensure best practices in network security and reliability while working with different teams, including security specialists.

We are looking for

• Strong expertise in networking with
  - depth knowledge of BGP, MPLS, Firewalls, ACI, and Load Balancers;
• Experience in network design, particularly in voice and data center projects;
• Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall configuration;
• Hands-on experience with: Cisco ACI and ASR, F5 Load Balancers, Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls;
• Ability to work in a data center environment, integrating multiple platforms;
• Experience in engineering teams;
• Ability to integrate various types of services (IT, OSS, and others);
• Basic security knowledge, considering security as one of the multiple aspects of the project, following established guidelines;
• Ability to support clarification, correction, and improvement tasks, with a
  - solving mindset rather than focusing solely on troubleshooting.
