Your role

We are looking for a Dev
Ops Engineer to join our Io
T team. As a Dev
Ops Engineer you are responsible for development, testing, and support processes on the software development life cycle. Advise and help to manage the development, tools deployment, integrated testing, and aid on productivity and delivering speed of innovative cloud and edge Io
T solutions while be able to guide the project team through the necessary tasks to reach the project goal and customer success.

What you'll do:

Understand and support the cloud and edge architecture to best suit the project requirements, standing up initial prototypes along with oversight for full scale development

Select and deploy CI/CD automation tools for development, testing, release, update and IT infrastructure

Support processes for the Dev
Sec
Ops operation

Encouraging and build automated processes wherever possible

Critical thinking and continuous learning and experimentation

Document everything

Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and update or create new processes for improvement and minimize wastage

Help plan the team activities and involvement in the project management activities

Communicate with the project stakeholders (Dev
Ops team, managers, customers, etc) and external interfaces, daily

Your profile

Graduated or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience

Experience with Linux Operating Systems administration (Windows is a plus)

Experience with
- up and connectivity to virtual/cloud-based environments

Intermediate experience with major cloud providers (i. e. , Azure, AWS)

Experience with one or more of the following: Python, Bash, Powershell

Experience with two or more of the following: SQL / Kafka / Mongo / Mosquito / Stream Analytics/Airflow/Elastic
Search

Experience with any common
- side programming languages/frameworks (eg. javascript)

Experience with docker and troubleshooting containers

Have a systematic
- solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, proactivity and a sense of ownership and drive

Awareness of critical concepts in Dev
Sec
Ops and Agile principles

Proficient in English - written and verbal

Nice to have:

Azure or AWS certifications will be a plus (Sysops Administrator, Dev
Ops Engineer, etc. )

Experience with Automation tools / CI/CD stack (i. e. Jenkins, Terraform, Salt
Stack, Ansible, Azure Dev
Ops, package repositories)

Experience with Kubernetes

Io
T Edge deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting

Troubleshooting of
- scale distributed systems with constrained resources
