Purpose:
As a key member of the finance team, the Investment Analyst will play a vital role in supporting financial planning, capital structure optimization, and investment analysis. This role is essential in ensuring efficient capital allocation, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and driving the company’s financial strategy.
This role will:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic
- making and investment planning. - Assist in capital raising activities, including debt and equity financing.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses for business planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities we will trust you with:
Financial Analysis & Planning:
- Conduct
- depth financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to guide
- making.
Capital Management & Funding:
- Support capital raising efforts, including structuring and negotiating financing agreements.
- Analyze and optimize the company’s capital structure to ensure financial efficiency.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Perform due diligence, valuation analysis, and risk assessment for potential M&A opportunities.
- Assist in integration planning and execution
- transaction.
Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure financial compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Investor & Stakeholder Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for investors and senior management.
- Support investor relations activities and communication.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional qualification (e. g. , CFA, ACA, CIMA) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial planning, preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets.
- Experience in M&A transactions, fundraising, and financial structuring.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and external financial partners.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical capability.
