Cross Border Wealth (CBW) is looking for an experienced International Investment Advisor to work in our Lisbon office.

This person will be responsible for establishing new client relationships and managing existing clients who have US-based private pensions.

The candidate should have financial planning and investment sales experience, the capacity to understand and thoughtfully explain foreign pension structures, be hardworking,
- minded, curious, mature, intelligent, polished, trustworthy,
- oriented, and have professional communication skills. Experience with US retirement plans, accounts, and rollover options preferred.

CBW will provide US pension training, an expansive database with qualified leads, and full administrative support.

This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate. Our business is highly specialized with very little competition, working with an underserved market.

Responsibilities:

• Engage prospective clients mostly via phone, as well as, email, and other platforms like Linked
  In. (Leads and sales support will be provided. )
• Analyze and review the client's current financial position.
• Provide appropriate and compliant
  - border solutions.
• Work with the administrative team to onboard new clients as well as ongoing client servicing.
• Build strong relationships to retain existing clients and develop referral business.
• Maintain updated knowledge of relevant regulations.

Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of sales and
  - facing experience in financial services.
• International experience preferred.
• The Series 65 license - Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination - preferred.
• CFP or CHFC preferred.
• Phone sales experience.
• Proficient in CRM software (Hub
  Spot).
• Self-starter.
• Strong code of ethics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

This is a sales role. Remuneration consists of salary, sales bonuses, and revenue participation. Total remuneration first year should be 50k EUR to 75k EUR, with the expectation of significant pay increases annually. Additional revenue potential for advisors with a transferable book of business.
