Job Summary
The Admissions Advisor will be a key member of the commercial team, driving the enrollment of executive education programs and representing Porto Business School to a diverse international audience. We are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a
- oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have experience working in international markets, preferably in the education sector, with a focus on executive education sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively manage the admissions pipeline, ensuring the achievement of enrollment targets for executive programs.
- Provide personalized guidance to prospective candidates, helping them identify programs that align with their professional goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with individual applicants and corporate partners, strengthening the school’s reputation in key markets.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of international outreach.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts and ensure consistent messaging across touchpoints.
- Conduct admissions interviews and assess the suitability of candidates for specific programs.
- Deliver compelling presentations to prospective students, HR
- makers, and corporate stakeholders. - Stay informed about trends in executive education and market dynamics, providing insights to support the continuous improvement of admissions strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, business development, or admissions, ideally within the executive education or higher education sector.
- Strong understanding of international markets and cultural nuances in business education.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative sales approach.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a
- paced environment. - Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Availability for frequent national and international travel to connect with prospective candidates and corporate partners.
