Note: depending on the audit work, occasional travel may be required.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Attend and lead meetings (in English) to understand workflows, processes and activities.
• Preparing and documenting internal audit work papers and results according to the professional practices and Itaú internal audit methodology.
• Working collaboratively with the team to deliver the Internal Audit plan.
• Completing and documenting assigned audit work within budgeted time constraints.
• Providing input and assisting in the identification of relevant risks and regulatory requirements for incorporation as part of our audit scope and work programs.
• Assessing controls to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and best practice.
• Conducting research and successfully completing assigned training requirements necessary to maintain relevance
• Development of relationships with business management throughout the audit process.
• Conducting
  - up reviews of deficiencies noted during audits.

We also would expect that with good prioritization skills you switch from task to task and understand what requires immediate attention at any given moment.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, technology, business or equivalent.
• High proficiency in the use of MS Office.
• High interest in the use of Gen AI tools and Data Analytics.
• Aptitude for designing and performing analytic audit tests.
• Desirable but not essential: experience at accounting and consultancy firms (external audit, risk advisory, or similar).

Languages

• Fluent in English, written and oral (essential).
• Portuguese fluency is desirable but not essential.
