The Role:
The Insurance Administrator is responsible for handling tasks related to the preparation and administration of insurance policies. The main objective is to provide
- quality administrative support to underwriters, brokers, and end clients. This includes accurate, timely, and efficient data entry of insurance risks aligned with Hiscox standards to achieve service excellence. The role also involves general administrative tasks such as profiling, issuing documentation, and monitoring mailboxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks efficiently, including policy profiling, documentation issuance, and mailbox monitoring.
- Accurately input and manage insurance data to ensure compliance with Hiscox standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e. g. , Change, Marketing, Sales, and Underwriting Technical teams) to support ongoing improvements.
- Investigate and resolve technical and procedural issues as they arise.
- Proactively propose improvements to administrative workflows.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Report technical incidents related to digital platforms to the Change/IT team.
- Support data cleansing initiatives and assist in team training.
- Contribute to the delivery of exceptional service standards by executing tasks in a timely and qualified manner.
Key Requirements:
- Native Portuguese speaker with proficiency in written and spoken Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a large volume of requests efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Customer-focused with a proactive,
- solving mindset. - Technically proficient, with familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel (training provided to enhance IT skills).
Professional experience:
- 2 years of experience in an office environment, ideally within a multinational setting and with
- office tasks. - Interest in a career in administration, insurance, or shared services.
- Strong understanding of service excellence and customer satisfaction.
