IT Support Specialist M365: Compliance and Data Protection

The role:

Join our team as a dedicated and experienced IT Support Specialist to transform company operations worldwide. This role is crucial in managing devices, ensuring endpoint security, overseeing mobile device management, and focusing on compliance, data protection, and overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
2. Oversee data governance initiatives to protect sensitive information and ensure data integrity.
3. Manage and monitor the overall security posture of the organization, including threat protection and incident response.
4. Utilize Microsoft Purview and the compliance and security portal to maintain and enhance data protection measures.
5. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to integrate compliance and security practices into business processes.
6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
7. Provide training and support to internal teams on compliance and data protection best practices.
8. Stay informed about the latest developments in data protection regulations and cybersecurity threats.
9. Follow up on IT tickets (JIRA) and ensure problems are fully resolved.
10. Provide support on M365 and any other hardware/software issues.
11. Collaborate with local IT teams worldwide to optimize system performance.
12. Documentation of all that will be implemented/configured.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing compliance policies, data governance, and threat protection.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, compliance and security portal, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Excellent analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Professional experience with Microsoft 365: Compliance, DLP.
• Strong communication skills – fluent in English (spoken and written).
