As an Information Security Specialist at Beam , you will work closely with the CISO to strategize, design, and implement a robust and scalable information security program. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert, focusing on the operational delivery and value realization of security services, ensuring our systems, data, and people are protected in a rapidly evolving threat landscape. Your Tasks
Collaborate with the CISO to build and evolve the company’s information security strategy and roadmap
Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Develop, maintain, and communicate clear and actionable security policies and procedures
Work in coordination with IT and Cyber Security teams to implement and oversee technical and organizational security measures
Provide expert security advisory to internal teams and business units
Act as an escalation point for security incidents and support major incident response activities
Own the process for responding to customer and prospect security questionnaires and operational security requests
Continuously monitor trends, legal developments, and best practices in information security and propose improvements accordingly
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs)Support ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001, and contribute to internal and external audit processes
Your Profile2+ years of experience in a similar role within an information security or compliance environment
Strong understanding of information security principles, including ISO 2700x standards and other
- recognized frameworks
Hands-on experience in security incident management, risk assessment, and policy development
Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is a plus
Knowledge of security laws, regulations, and industry best practices
