Job Description

Design and develop automated test cases and tests for embedded software using Python.

Collaborate with software development teams to define testing strategies and ensure robust software quality.

Execute and maintain automated tests to ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and report defects to the development team.

Ensure traceability between requirements and automated tests.

Contribute to the enhancement of test automation infrastructure and tools.

Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test scripts, and test results.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Operate according to Agile principles and participate actively in Agile ceremonies

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or an IT related discipline:

4+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test;

Hands on experience in Python;

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;

Hands-on experience with test automation tools;

Good understanding of all levels of the testing pyramid;

Experience in defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, etc;

Familiarity with relational database engines (SQL);

Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development methodology;

Fluent communication skills in English (both written & verbal);
