In 2025, they will open a new production plant in Felgueiras and are seeking an Industrial Quality Engineer to ensure quality control of project industrialization activities, maintaining high standards throughout the process. Tasks

1. Challenge product and process designs to ensure robustness in product assembly and optimize manufacturability
2. Define qualification criteria within equipment specifications to align with quality and performance requirements
3. Qualify manufacturing equipment and facilitate its handover to the production team
4. Act as a guarantor of the PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodology, ensuring its effective implementation and continuous improvement
5. Adapt processes efficiently to meet production goals and maintain consistent performance metrics
6. Work across various technologies, with a particular focus on mechatronics, to support innovative solutions in industrialization
7. Lead initiatives with a direct impact on process performance, addressing issues promptly and effectively

Requirements

1. Native or full professional level of Portuguese
2. Full professional level of English
3. Degree in Engineering or related field (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering)
4. 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
5. Strong knowledge of
   - mechanical assembly processes
6. Mastery of quality tools like PFMEA and Control Plan development
7. Proficiency in quality tools such as Process Flow Diagram; and 8D
   - solving methodology
8. Strong analytical and
   - solving abilities
9. Ability to challenge designs and propose innovative, robust solutions
10. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with
    - functional teams
11. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining
    - quality standards
12. Ability to travel up to 15%
