Job Description:

Contract Type: Permanent

Your opportunity: We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Leader in our Santa Maria da Feira plant. Integrated into a team of 2, you will play a key role in supporting local production of conveyors and participating in upskilling our manufacturing processes.

Your Mission:

1. Participate in the design of equipment to integrate industrial design and assembly constraints as soon as possible.
2. Participate in the control of equipment costs with the purchasing departments.
3. Arbitrate the choice of the method of supply of machine components in accordance with the manufacturing process.
4. Supervise the prototype assembly process to solve manufacturing and assembly problems promptly.
5. Define
   - series and serial manufacturing processes as part of project development milestones.
6. Design the workshop tools necessary to manufacture equipment.

Production support:

1. Supervise the industrialization of assembly processes to reduce manufacturing times.
2. Oversee the optimization of assembly processes.
3. Actively collaborate in reducing customer and internal
   - conformities.

Support to purchasing and quality departments:

1. Participate in the development of strategic suppliers.
2. Participate in the development of critical components requiring
   - depth technical expertise in various disciplines.

Within the Industrial Methods Department:

1. At the request of the department manager, implement internal procedures and lead continuous improvement actions.

Your Profile:

Education and Languages:

1. Mechanical knowledge (automatism notions appreciated).
2. English (technical and conversational basis).

Key Leadership Behavior:

1. Engineer beginner accepted with minimum industrial apprenticeship experience or Technician with 3 years of experience.
2. Software: Solidworks / Excel.
3. Spirit of teamwork,
   - minded, technically curious; patient & respectful.
4. Pragmatic,
   - oriented, and
   - field actions; proactive in solution proposals.
5. Priorities management (multi-tasks/projects) and synthesis capacities (action logs, reporting/presentation, meeting management).
