In-House Legal Counsel - Lisboa

Greenvolt is looking for an In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department and be responsible for the following tasks:

Providing support on Corporate and M&A matters, including overseeing acquisition, sale, and joint venture transactions in Portugal and other jurisdictions;
Assisting with financing processes and guarantees matters, including reviewing and negotiating related documentation with financial institutions;
Supporting renewable energy projects in Portugal and other jurisdictions;
Interacting with various regulatory entities, particularly in licensing procedures for photovoltaic solar and wind projects, biomass plants, energy communities, ACC, and ACI;
Analyzing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts;
Preparing legal opinions on topics related to different areas of law;
Monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings;
Managing

- day corporate governance (housekeeping), including company incorporations, share capital increases, share transfers, or any other corporate changes;
Prepare, review, and implement internal policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.

Profile:

Law degree from a reputable university;
Admission to the Portuguese Bar Association;
Minimum of 4 years of experience in these areas (relevant experience in Corporate, M&A, Energy, and/or Finance will be valued);
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus);
Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills;
Solid legal knowledge across multiple areas of law, particularly commercial and corporate law, civil law, and energy law;
Teamwork skills, resilience, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
