ROLE PURPOSE

The IT Release Manager will be responsible for managing the release of software updates, upgrades, and patches across all environments, including production. He / She will have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

1. Manage the software release process from planning to deployment.
2. Chairman of the Change Advisory Board.
3. Coordinate with IFS Solution teams to schedule release dates and ensure that all release activities are completed on time.
4. Develop and maintain release schedules and calendars.
5. Ensure that releases are compliant with applicable policies, regulations, and standards.
6. Ensure that any new releases can be technically maintained over time.
7. Identify and mitigate potential
   - related risks.
8. Develop and maintain
   - related documentation, such as release notes and user guides.
9. Collaborate with the change management team to ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
10. Communicate release status and updates to relevant stakeholders.
11. Continuously evaluate and improve the release process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Excellent communication in English both verbal and written.
2. Able to work effectively with a wide range of teams (including external partners).
3. Ability to work in a
   - paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Excellent ITIL knowledge (ITIL certification is preferred).
10. Proven experience managing the release of ERP services (IFS is preferred).
11. Knowledge of ERP systems and processes (IFS is preferred).
12. Experience with service delivery tools, such as IT service management (ITSM) software and monitoring tools (Service
    Now is preferred).
13. Strong experience with release management tools, such as Dev
    Ops, Git
    Lab, and Jira.
14. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall (Certification is preferred).
15. Strong understanding of service delivery processes, including SLAs, service catalogs, and escalation processes.
16. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
