Job title: HSSQE Technical Advisor Barcelona

Intro:

1. Provide specialist functional knowledge in support of operational Health/Safety/Environment/HSE support to
   - based activities.
2. Provide guidance, advice, and technical criteria on HSE compliance for the Business Unit.
3. Ensure all work requested in audits in Quality is done (Referenciales de puertos, ISOS. . . ).

Principal Accountabilities:

PERFORMANCE/OPERATIONAL

1. Assist and support the execution of the Business Unit HSE strategy with responsibility for implementation monitoring.
2. Providing
   - functional advice and guidance for implementation of site Health/Safety/Environment/HSE management requirements.
3. Prepare and compile Health/Safety/Environment/HSE improvement plans and report on performance to Health/Safety/Environment/HSE Business Partner with recommendations for improvement.
4. Identify high HSE risk activities and prioritize improvement actions.
5. Monitor the availability and quality of risk assessments and safe working procedures provided by contractors/vendors.
6. Support assurance activities that confirm contractors, suppliers, consultants, and visitors comply with relevant legislation and conform to site HSE standards.
7. Participate in a thorough investigation of incidents as required.
8. Monitor
   - incident improvement actions to confirm that new controls are implemented and that they are managing the risk.
9. Get to the work site and learn how different functions plan and execute work, applying this understanding to the development of the HSE culture.
10. Influence stakeholders within the business unit to support the
    - making process.
11. Provide
    -
    - day Health/Safety/Environment/HSE advice to the local business unit, assuring that HSE standards and policies are relevant, understood, and applied.
12. Support continuous improvement activities and developing project proposals and business cases to support this as required.
13. Lead by example, ensuring compliance with local HSE policies & procedures, enforcing safe working practices, and promoting a safe workplace. Verifying that work is completed in compliance with legislation and in conformance of applicable business unit standards; acting when work falls short of these requirements.
14. Work
    - functional to provide support and guidance on HSE and Risk Management programs.
