About Your Team
Become a vital part of our dynamic and collaborative General Administration team, instrumental in shaping our company's people strategy and culture. Reporting directly to the CFO, this team is essential for efficient internal operations. Acting as a central hub, the General Administration team connects various departments and functions, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with our overarching business objectives.
How Can You Help?
As the HR Manager, you will be the backbone of our HR operations, overseeing critical processes that ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll manage recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll, while supporting HR reporting and other administrative needs. Your role will involve close collaboration with leadership and teams across the organization, ensuring compliance and enhancing our
- first culture.
Daily at Sensei, you will:
- Lead recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews to secure top talent for the team.
- Streamline onboarding processes to ensure new hires feel supported and connected from their first day onward.
- Manage offboarding procedures with care and professionalism, maintaining compliance and gathering valuable feedback.
- Handle employee administration such as contract management, benefits enrollment, and record maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports that provide insights into workforce metrics and trends.
- Coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
You will bring to the table:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a
- paced tech environment. - Proven background in technical recruitment and/or an HR generalist role.
- Strong expertise in HRIS and ATS tools (experience with Bamboo and Screenloop is a plus) alongside advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing priorities.
After 6 months, success means:
- You have successfully filled critical roles, ensuring a robust hiring pipeline that aligns with company needs.
- New employees rate the onboarding process highly in satisfaction surveys, demonstrating a smooth transition into the company.
- HR processes are running efficiently, with accurate and timely payroll and reporting.
- You’ve streamlined administrative workflows, reducing manual efforts and improving compliance.
- Leadership recognizes your contributions in maintaining an organized and compliant HR function while fostering a positive employee experience.
