HR Manager Iberia
The HR Manager for Iberia region is a
- level HR professional role with matrix responsibility for the Iberia region and functional partnership with one of the company's business functions. It will play a critical role in driving the HR agenda, managing key initiatives, and providing operational and strategic HR support for approximately 100 employees across Spain and Portugal, as well as HR partnership for one of the company’s functional areas. This role ensures alignment with the company’s global goals while addressing the unique cultural and organizational needs of the Iberia region. The HR Manager will work closely with Iberia leadership team, functional leadership team, country managers, and
- regional teams to foster a cohesive, compliant, and effective working environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is essential.
- HR Expertise: Strong experience in HR leadership roles, with a deep understanding of labor laws and collective agreements in Spain and Portugal.
- Matrix Organizational Experience: Demonstrated ability to navigate a matrix structure, balancing regional and functional responsibilities.
- Change Management: High adaptability and empathy to manage organizational changes and cultural integration. Experience in
- acquisition integrations is a plus. - Industry Knowledge: Experience in the finance,
- tech or related industries is a plus.

- Act as a key people partner to senior staff and country managers, ensuring HR operations are aligned with overall company objectives.
- Lead the delivery of central HR initiatives, including performance management, talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
- Support the execution of key HR projects such as Engagement Surveys, Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, and organizational transformation programs.
- Oversee all HR operations for Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and collective agreements.
- Manage and provide mentorship and direction to HR Generalists across the Iberia region, ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies and practices.
- Act as a change agent, driving transformation and cultural integration across the region.
- Act as a key people sparring partner to an assigned business function and its leadership team.
- Lead the people agenda and execution of people plans across the function and various geographies.
- Support the execution of key HR projects such as Engagement Surveys, Inclusion & Diversity initiatives, and organizational transformation programs.
- Manage compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and internal audit standards in Spain and Portugal.
- Implement policies and methodologies developed by HR Centers of Excellence including performance management cycles, succession planning, and talent pipeline development.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on organizational changes, job evaluations, and compensation structures.
- Lead succession planning efforts, facilitating calibrations and ensuring robust leadership development programs, growth opportunities and career paths.
- Support local recruitment process.
- Handle employee complaints and personal matters, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Support initiatives to improve internal climate, engagement, and overall employee satisfaction across the Iberia region.
- Act as a coach and advisor to managers on demonstrating and modeling company values.
- Build trust and collaboration with country managers, senior staff, and other stakeholders in the region and assigned business function.
- Work effectively within a matrix structure, balancing functional and geographical responsibilities.

- hoc HR reports and updates to senior leadership.
- Be based onsite in the Porto office, with regular travel to Barcelona, Prague, and other ad hoc locations for Team meetings to ensure alignment and consistency in HR operations and initiatives.
