We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join our rapidly growing organisation!
About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and
- oriented HR Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role will be instrumental in managing the employee lifecycle, supporting key HR initiatives, and ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive
- solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Lifecycle Administration: Manage all administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. This includes drafting employment contracts, processing new hire paperwork, managing employee data in HRIS systems, tracking employee status changes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Onboarding Calls: Conduct onboarding calls with new employees on their first day, welcoming them to the company and ensuring they have all the necessary resources.
- Policy Updates: Support the HR Manager in updating and maintaining company HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with current legislation and best practices. This may include drafting policy revisions, communicating changes to employees, and updating policy manuals.
- Equipment Ordering and Platform Management: Assist the HR Manager with ordering employee equipment, managing HR-related platforms (e. g. , ATS, HRIS), and liaising with vendors. This may involve tracking inventory, sending invoices, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- General HR Administration: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining HR files.
- People Initiatives Support: Assist the HR Manager and Head of Talent in the implementation of various people initiatives, such as performance management programmes, employee engagement activities, and talent development programmes. This may involve coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and tracking progress.
- Employee Relations (ER) Case Support: Provide administrative support in managing employee relations cases, including documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining confidentiality. Assist with note taking and preparing documentation for investigations or disciplinary meetings.
Required Skills:
- Administrative Skills: Strong

- paced environment. - Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures: Understanding of basic employment laws and regulations in Portugal or the UK.
- HR Information Systems (HRIS) Proficiency: Experience with HR software and databases for managing employee information.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or CIPD level 3 is required.
