Hotel Manager - River Cruises (Europe) and PORTUGAL Lisboa
Position: Hotel Manager
Job Description:
The Hotel Manager is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with company standards, while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and practice company values;
- Manage the entire hotel department;
- Lead and motivate the crew, particularly management staff;
- Oversee in and out procedures;
- Supervise general administrative duties across all departments;
- Manage budget and costs effectively;
- Collaborate with the nautical department and the company’s regional offices;
- Address and resolve any concerns from both guests and crew.
Skills/Qualifications:
- A diploma from a hotel school or equivalent education is preferred;
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star restaurant and/or hotel;
- Cruise ship experience is a plus;
- Proven leadership skills and excellent communication abilities;
- Strong organizational and computer skills;
- Fluency in English is essential.
