About the Company

Our client is an emerging gambling venture backed by a
- established gaming group. Focused on Tier 3 markets, particularly India and Bangladesh, this new project is rapidly expanding and requires a strategic Head of Payments to drive its payment operations and optimize transaction efficiency.

Role Overview

As the Head of Payments, you will be responsible for building and scaling the payment infrastructure, ensuring seamless transactions across key markets. This role requires a proactive, strategic, and
- driven leader who can enhance conversion rates, reduce commercial costs, and onboard
- performing payment providers. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Provider Sourcing & Onboarding: Identify and integrate new payment providers, with a strong focus on India and Bangladesh.
• Payment Flow Optimization: Oversee processing efficiency, monitor conversion rates across various payment methods and regions, and implement improvements.
• Team Management: Lead a team including a Billing Manager and oversee a dedicated payments developer to ensure
  - performance execution.
• Process Validation & Compliance: Ensure all payment solutions comply with local regulations and business requirements.
• Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategies to enhance payment efficiency, improve acceptance rates, and reduce costs.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze transaction performance, fraud rates, and customer behavior to refine payment solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (tech, risk, compliance, and finance) to align payment operations with overall business goals.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Fintech or Payments, with at least 1 year focusing on Tier 3 markets, especially India and Bangladesh.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage
  - functional projects.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment processing, alternative payment methods, fraud prevention, and local regulations in Tier 3 markets.
• Skills: Strategic mindset, commercial acumen, analytical approach, and
  - solving abilities.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Russian (both written and spoken).
• Work Setup: Remote or hybrid, based anywhere in the EU.
