Risk Management

The Risk Management Department operates as an independent control function, actively engaged in all significant decisions while adhering to parent company guidelines and best practices. Its mission is to support the Bank in making
- informed decisions and ensure that the risk policies approved by the Board of Directors are properly implemented and consistently followed.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of the Risk Management Department, the candidate will:

• Ensure the collection and treatment of operational risk and ICT events and losses;
• Lead the Bank’s Risk Control Self-Assessment process, supporting and challenging the First Line of Defense in the identification, assessment and response of their risks;
• Provide independent advice and assessment on products, services, systems, processes and
  - parties;
• Report to the Bank’s management the operational risk metrics (KRI), losses, events and elaborate specific risk analysis;
• Coordinate the Bank’s risk reports to the shareholder;
• Participate in the ICT and security risk management framework;
• Compute operational risk capital regulatory and internal requirements.

Profile

• Experience of at least 5 years in advisory services for financial institutions or in a financial institution;
• Degree in management, economics or finance;
• Fluency in English;
• Knowledge of regulatory topics such as: EBA’s Operational Risk regulation and guidelines; CRR III; DORA; BCBS 239;
• Understanding of information security best practices such as ISO 27001/2, NIST;
• Knowledge of Excel, SQL and Power
  Point;
• Good understanding of investment banking products;
• Risk-oriented with strong analytical, investigation and
  - solving skills;
• Strong work ethic and commitment;
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team;
• Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines and to allocate time effectively.
