Head of Marketing
As Head of Marketing, you will oversee all aspects of marketing, driving our positioning, brand awareness, and lead generation. You’ll lead a team of five people, develop strategic marketing initiatives, and collaborate closely with
- functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will play a pivotal role in helping Sensei thrive in this new phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement Sensei’s marketing strategy and roadmap, translating the business vision into actionable objectives and quarterly goals.
- Be an active stakeholder in shaping Sensei’s commercial success, partnering with Growth leadership and commercial teams to achieve our goals.
- Establish and maintain clear brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and communications.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Head of Growth, helping shape overall business direction and market positioning.
- Scope & Impact: Successfully market our products by translating complex digital solutions into clear and compelling narratives and value propositions for our clients.
- Translate this value proposition into sales collaterals - presentations,
- pagers, business cases, articles -, social media posts, presence on events and PR. - Enhance our positioning, build awareness and generate leads by building and pushing consistent content and strategically using PR to boost our visibility and credibility.
- Ensure Sensei has a successful participation on events and trade fairs, measuring impact and ROI from these participations.
- Develop tailored marketing approaches for different stakeholders—clients, investors, partners, talent, and shoppers.
- Guide an internal team (including creative talent) and external agencies to deliver innovative,
- impact marketing assets.
- Execution Excellence: Manage key marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, PR, and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership in the Growth team to refine

- market strategies. - Drive qualified lead generation to support the sales pipeline, leveraging creative and
- driven tactics. - Oversee external partners (e. g. , social media agencies, web developers) to ensure high quality outputs.
What success looks like after 3 months on the job
- You have a clear understanding of our product, business and organization.
- You have the marketing team working productively and executing all key activities planned.
- You’ve helped building and/ or improving our baseline sales collaterals.
- You’ve helped us create new commercial narratives for our products that help us in getting our value proposition across to our customers.
What success looks like after 1 year on the job
- You’ve successfully improved our positioning as a strong, internationally recognized brand.
- You’ve been able to significantly increase awareness, engagement and the amount of inbound leads with potential for sales (SQLs).
- You’ve been able to structure our communication, materials and content so that our products and their value proposition is clear to any potential client.
- Sensei has become a recognized thought leader in the autonomous retail space (i. e. publishing quality articles, invited for interviews and podcasts).
You’ll thrive in this role if you
- Are a strategic marketer with +7 years experience leading marketing teams, preferably in B2B Saa
S, tech, or
- focused industries. - Skilled at translating complex concepts into simple, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Experience in product marketing is valued.
- Experienced in managing creative talent (internally and externally)
- Strong commercial drive, experience in balancing
- building with commercial performance, to drive measurable results. - Adept at working with
- functional teams, including sales and product, to align strategies and objectives. - A proven leader who inspires and promotes creativity, accountability and drive towards achieving company goals.
- Experience in PR and event management is an advantage.
