You will be joining a HUGE brand that has rapidly expanded their Tech Hubs in Coimbra, growing from 0 to 100 in tech and software engineering over the past 12 months.

About the Role:

As the Head of Engineering, you will steer the strategic direction of their newly formed technical teams in Portugal. You’ll work closely with Product Directors on transformative projects and play a key role in shaping their technology, products, and teams as they aim to double our engineering workforce to over 200 by the end of 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and build
  - performing software engineering teams, both onshore and offshore.
• Drive your vision for the engineering team, fostering a dynamic high performing culture within the Software Engineering function.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product and other stakeholders to influence the strategic direction of the business.
• Maintain a deep understanding of technical competencies and guide the team on challenges, particularly with AWS, GCP, and Serverless cloud solutions.
