We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Host/ Hostess to join our new opening of a Pan-Asian restaurant fine dining, ATTIKO in Lisbon, inside ME Lisbon hotel. The Head Host /Hostess is responsible to greet customers and to ensure that all guests receive an amazing experience from their first point of contact with the team. The Ideal candidate will have proven reception experience and a passion for providing exceptional guest service. Main
- Oversee and lead the reception team, ensuring they deliver a warm, friendly, and efficient greeting to guests. - Welcome and seat guests, manage reservations, and handle any special requests or inquiries to ensure guest satisfaction. - Manage reservation systems (online and phone bookings), oversee seating arrangements, and ensure the smooth flow of guests into the dining area. - Train and mentor the reception team on guest interaction, reservation management, and overall service standards to ensure a high level of professionalism. - Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner, escalating to the Restaurant Manager when necessary. - Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate seating, table turnover, and special event preparations. - Ensure the reception area is always clean, organized, and presentable. - Prepare daily seating plans, review and confirm reservations, handle phone and email inquiries, and assist with scheduling staff. - Provide feedback and reports to management on guest satisfaction, front desk performance, and team progress. Qualifications- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Head Host/Hostess role within a
- end restaurant or hospitality setting. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English to interact with guests, team members, and management. - Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and creating a positive working environment. - Passion for providing exceptional customer service with the ability to anticipate guest needs. - Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and strong organizational skills. - Ability to handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently.
