Groups & Sales Coordinator
Mission: This position has the responsibility for supporting all administrative tasks within the department and have a full understanding of the team dynamics. The position will be a support for reactive tasks. This person must demonstrate high energy levels and provide consistently high levels of customer service and teamwork.
Job Description:
- Perform general office duties to support Groups & Sales (e. g. , filing, sending emails, typing, copying).
- Prepare group
- related documents throughout the sales process (e. g. , proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). - Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e. g. , commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
- Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e. g. , hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
- Conducting Site inspections
- Working closely and communicating with other hotel departments with regards to our guests
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Interacts effectively with sales, kitchen, vendors, competitors, local community, catering associations and other hotel departments in order to maintain guest satisfaction.

- day basis the Director of Sales in any task necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience as a sales coordinator or in administration may be advantageous.
- Good team development and leadership skills.
- Good administrative, organizational, and
- solving skills. - Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- The ability to multitask, work in a
- paced environment, and meet deadlines. - Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Education/Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality/tourism administration or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Sales Coordinator.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Sales.
Language Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
