Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.

The Golf Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing daily golf course operations, ensuring exceptional service, and achieving both operational and financial goals. Responsibilities include managing the course and amenities, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and coordinating events. This role requires close collaboration with the management team to enhance the golfing experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily golf course operations, including the driving range, pro shop, and cart rentals.
• Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to maintain the highest standards for greens, fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes.
• Oversee golf course layout and conditions to ensure an enjoyable and challenging experience for golfers.
• Hire, train, and manage golf course staff, including scheduling for efficient operations.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure high service standards.
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences by engaging with guests, resolving concerns promptly, and handling member inquiries professionally.
• Manage tee time reservations, assist golfers, and ensure smooth
  - ins at the pro shop.
• Plan and organize golf events, including logistics, promotions, and guest relations.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to boost participation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee guest and staff safety and maintain equipment.
• Prepare operational and financial reports.
• Assist with inventory control and ordering of merchandise and equipment.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in golf course operations or management with leadership experience.
• Skills in golf operations, customer service, event planning, communication, organization, and financial management.
• Proficiency in golf management software and office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
