We are looking for an experienced Developer to join our R&D team in Porto or Coruña.

The founders have been working together for years, so there is a family feel to the company. We have a beautiful office right in the historical central canals of Amsterdam, and we are in the process of establishing our Iberian bases in Porto and Galicia.

Who are you?

1. You have a thorough understanding of containers and functions. Deployment experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or Functions is highly desirable.
2. You have experience deploying production applications (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP, Heroku).
3. You know modern coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.
4. You love to write clean, structured code.
5. You enjoy learning about new technologies.
6. You know how to design efficient software architecture and implement it.
7. You automate mundane tasks so more time can be spent on the fun stuff.
8. You like working in a team, sharing knowledge, and mentoring juniors.

Some of the tasks you might be doing in this role:

1. Work closely with other teams and individuals to plan, coordinate, and seek feedback.
2. Setup and improve CICD pipeline.
3. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting.
4. Work with the business to gather requirements and specifications.
5. Squeeze every last drop of performance out of your backend and websites through benchmarking and optimisation.
6. Use infrastructure tools such as K8s, Terraform, Docker, and Helm charts.

Requirements:

Written and verbal English is the only core requirement.
