About the job

The KYC Breaches Investigation Analyst monitors post trade alerts for counterparties with no Know Your Customer (Master, Marketer and Booking), Deleted Counterparties, Do not trade Counterparties, MSC and PN Breach Alerts, contributing to protect the Bank against reputational risk, Anti Money laundering risk AML/CFT and Fraud risks. The team must work closely with the Business, with OPC and Compliance to accompany the remediation of the alerts as well as with IT for improvements of GRID tool.

Your Main Activities Are

1. The alert analyst is in charge of performing screening on post trade alerts (for deals booked with counterparties that are not compliant).
2. The alert will need to be investigated with the relevant teams (Business, Due Diligence, Middle Office, Compliance…).
3. It will be monitored by the analyst E2E (progression/closure).
4. The
   -
   - end analysis and monitoring of KYC breaches and other breaches within the scope.
5. Review of new breaches and monitoring of stock of breaches until their respective closure.
6. Strongly contribute to the development of the procedures and related process.
7. Provide guidance, help and support to the relevant teams on the process.
8. Preparation of reporting and key performance indicators.

Profile and Skills to Success

1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
2. Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations or Financial Analysis and Advisory or from 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Risk and Controls.
3. Fluent (C1-C2) level of English.
4. Analytical ability.
5. Ability to manage / facilitate a meeting, seminar, committee, training, among others.
6. Ability to understand, explain and support change.
7. KYC, Trading and Market and Financing Services knowledge.
