About the job
- The Trading Analyst ensures a smooth and accurate monitoring of the trading activity in the Trading books, to ensure a sustainable level of the Bank's revenues.
- The Trading Analyst's main mission is to become familiar with the trading environment and contribute gradually with tasks to the development of the Trading ecosystem, by improving the ability to read and analyze data quicker, increase the speed to process the routine (trading, booking, reporting, analyzing, etc. . . ) and requests and to evolve in the tasks performed, by compressing the time spent on them via automation, decommissioning and/or delegation.
Your Main Activities Are
- Accurately pricing transactions, properly assessing relevant market liquidity, hedging costs, risk management slippage, funding, and balance sheet factors.
- Booking transactions, and monitoring / conducting
- ups with booked transactions with Middle Office and Back Office. - Monitoring and accessing the aggregated Risk and P&L of the Trading books.
- Evaluating the risk and opportunities in the market for positions and strategy that align with the overall desk's strategy.
- Exercising judgement and applying knowledge of areas of expertise to recommend suitable changes or developments to products or services offered by the team.
- Working with independence on transactions, with closely defined responsibilities, and coordinating effectively with colleagues in relation to larger or more complex transactions.
- Building and maintaining trusting relationships with all relevant stakeholders internally and externally, and collaborating with teams across the Bank to promote areas of expertise/markets and developing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master's Degree in Finance or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel.
About the Team
- The Global Macro G10 Rates Exotic Trading team is responsible for the market making and trading of all G10 Rates
- vanilla options. It includes CMS linked payoffs, Bermudan Options, and any complex /
- standard derivatives in G10 Rates. - Part of the activity is focusing on our PB&D franchise (Private Banks & Distribution). It includes working closely with structuring, quantitative research & IT teams to service, grow and industrialise our PB&D franchise, in particular through our trading platform Smart Derivatives.
