Responsibilities & Main Tasks
The Digital Solution Manager will oversee the design, implementation, operational Run and lifecycle of Digital solutions for a specific functional domain (ie: FIN, HR, LCCI, SCM, …) within our organization. You will work closely with
- functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that align with organizational strategy and priorities.
- Delivering the Digital Solution compliant with the functional requirements validated by the Business, as well as with the commercialization requirements.
- Monitoring user adoption and value created by the Digital Solution, as well as performance based on agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Record and maintain the vision and lifecycle evolution of the Digital Solution from ideation to delivery and from run until decommissioning.
- Interface with the Business and understand their processes, needs or pain points, and potential support from digital and data management to propose Digital Solution opportunities.
- Interface with IT and Data Management teams for all technical aspects of the Digital Solution lifecycle.
- Build the business case for Digital Solution development and lifecycle, as well as prepare the functional specification, with input from the Business and all stakeholders.
- Manage all stages and prepare all gates as defined by the Stage Gate Model Process.
- Manage the overall Digital Solution scope, budget and schedule through its lifecycle and all stages of the Process. During Develop and Deploy stages, the IT Project Manager manages the project scope, budget and schedule.
- Participate and present, in collaboration with the IT Project Manager, the project status at the regular Digital Solution project board meetings during the Develop and Deploy stages and request approval for the project changes.
- Organize the acceptance of the Digital Solution by the Business by organizing training and UAT (User Acceptance Tests) as required.
- Define and execute change management.
- Responsible for capturing Digital Solution project feedback and lessons learnt from various stakeholders and planning for the solution’s evolution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Solution providers and other External partners.
- Where applicable, audit and report on governance / assurance performance and application of internal / external controls.
- Responsible for keeping a continuous watch over new digital technologies and market Digital Solutions.
Role Requirements
- Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- More than 5 years’ experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining digital solutions. More than 2 years’ experience in a management role.
- Strong business background to understand business needs (ie: FIN, HR, LCCISCM, …);
- Functional knowledge of the Product or Strong interest and ability to learn;
- System oriented mindset, able to translate functional needs into specifications;
- Comfortable with negotiation and commercial
- up; - Good project management, reporting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead through collaboration with effective stakeholder management.
- Solution driven and analytical approach to work and
- solving. - Ability to gain confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to drive change.
