About the Role

Our client is expanding global procurement and engineering services and seeks a BU Category Manager – Engineering Services. This role focuses on streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and aligning procurement strategies across regions for
- scale projects. The position ensures global strategy harmonization, efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.

Location: Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden)

Experience: 7+ years

What You will Do:

1. Category Strategy & Leadership – Develop and implement a global framework for engineering services, aligning with business goals.
2. Project-Based Management – Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal service and solution delivery.
3. Change Management & Standardization – Lead the transition to a unified global process.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with key teams to align category strategies with business objectives.
5. Supplier & Contract Management – Build strong,
   - term partnerships with service providers.
6. Operational & Financial Oversight – Manage spend across regions, ensuring
   - effective service delivery.
7. Global Exposure & Travel – Travel up to 25% across Europe, the Middle East, and India.

What You Bring:

1. 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within Engineering & Site Services.
2. Experience in project-driven industries like Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, or Construction.
3. Ability to drive change and unify local processes into a global framework.
4. Strong stakeholder engagement – collaborating with
   - functional teams and managing global suppliers.
5. Fluent in English with strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. Willing to travel up to 25% across Europe, the Middle East, and India.
