Are you an experienced accountant looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, multicultural environment? We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join an international team based in London - Westminster (hybrid work). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate group of professionals in the conference and event industry, reporting to a team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and reconcile accounts.
2. Manage
   - company transactions and handle foreign currency exchanges.
3. Execute regular payment cycles, including international transfers.
4. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
5. Independently handle accruals, monthly provisions, and prepayments.
6. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and assist with
   - end and annual financial reporting.
7. Support the creation and distribution of internal financial reports.
8. Assist with various analyses and special projects as needed.

About you:

You are
- oriented and organized with a strong background in accounting and finance. You excel at managing tasks and deadlines in a
- paced, international environment. Your communication skills help you interact well with colleagues and stakeholders. Fluent in German and English, you handle
- border financial activities smoothly.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and finance.
2. Strong understanding of general and subsidiary ledgers.
3. Knowledge of German VAT regulations and reverse charge mechanisms.
4. Experience with
   - company transactions and recharges.
5. Proficiency in Excel and a willingness to learn new software.
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
