Fullstack Developer – Payments and Services

Maintain a set of exciting applications for one of the European Leaders in Payment Services

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our Client – one of the European Leaders in Payment Services processing more than 11 billion transactions processed worldwide. You will work in a team of other
- stack developers responsible for maintaining and optimizing 4 core banking applications. Besides being responsible for the technical solutions you will also support the Paris business team with any new development requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Designing technical assumptions for the implementation of development changes in the system
2. Implementing changes in the functionality of the system following the design, standards, and IT practices
3. Reviewing the code provided by other developers
4. Diagnosing, analyzing, and removing programming errors
5. Programming support during the implementation
6. Optimizing the efficiency of implemented solutions
7. Ability to understand functional specifications
8. Functional analysis ability
9. Ability to understand interactions exchange within application functions
10. Ability to write technical specifications
11. Ability to analyze incidents/anomalies

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

1. At least 4 years of experience as a Java developer
2. Strong programming skills in Java 8+ using Spring, Spring
   Boot, and Spring Batch
3. Experience with Angular 11+
4. Good knowledge of system integration using REST, SOAP, and databases with My
   SQL and Oracle
5. Knowledge of the principles of
   - oriented programming and design patterns
6. Work experience in Agile (Scrum is a plus)
7. Fluent in English and French (B2)
