The role is restricted to those physically located in Europe; we cannot consider candidates who are not based in such a region. Preference will be given to candidates based in Portugal, Spain, or Malta.

- stack PHP/Vue. JS/Type
Script software engineer to help us implement Raketech’s vision.

As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you are expected to:

• Develop new features and address maintenance and continuous improvement of existing software with a strong focus on maintainability and quality.
• Participate in discussions about designing new components and services that integrate with internal and external services, as well as their implementation.
• Stay updated about the latest best coding practices and apply them in your
  -
  - day tasks.
• Be proactive on how we can improve and automate processes and improve the satisfaction of our internal and external users.

Success in this role means:

• Improving usability and performance of the platform for our Product Teams.
• Introducing new features that facilitate site migration and creation on the platform.
• Ensuring sites hosted on the platform achieve outstanding core web vitals, uptime, reliability, and performance results.
• Achieving sprint commitments regularly.
• Proactively contributing to the decisions taken within the team with fresh new ideas and solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in either
  - end development using Vue
  JS and Java
  Script/Type
  Script or
  - end development with PHP/Laravel, and a willingness to learn and work on the other.
• Experience in designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience with My
  SQL/Maria
  DB, Postgre
  SQL, and database design and querying best practices in general.
• Experience in working with Docker and containers.
• Passionate about
  - improvement and web technologies.
• Experience with performance measurement and optimization.
• Experience in working with agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways.
• Available to work +/- 2 CET.

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with the architectural concept of microservices.
