What’s the opportunity about?

Our team in Lisbon is looking for experienced frontend engineers to help us build, scale and maintain several services used by our community of translators and linguists. We are looking for someone who can collaborate in a
- functional team, with a focus on building new features and improving existing ones to provide a better user experience.

You will primarily use Vue 2, Vuex, SCSS and implement REST API requests with Axios or similar. This role is ideal for someone who would enjoy tackling complex and
- ended challenges and thrives in
- functional, highly collaborative teams.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

• Leading or significantly contributing to
  -
  - large feature releases
• Write performant and accessible components to support our
  - centric experiences
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of all UI/UX designs
• Integrate frontend apps with multiple services/APIs
• Write and maintain tests to ensure high code quality
• Participate in code reviews to identify and help address security vulnerabilities, backward incompatibilities, and scalability issues
• Respond to production issues in a timely manner
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot the performance of the service
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Solid experience programming
  - end user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Java
  Script
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as Vue. js
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with debugging and diagnosing code issues
• Comfortable with working in, analyzing, and improving an existing codebase
• Self-motivated, and able to independently identify and implement needed improvements
• Comfortable with English communication
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams, demonstrate attention to detail, and possess a “can-do” attitude
